-Eden Pond Ramblings-

Hi everyone -- wrote this around 1830 -- It is showery and Breezy -- Stood outside and watched the wind sway the tree tops - just enough wind to move the tops a few feet but not enough to cause concern of losing any trees. The wind has that soothing murmuring , the kind where a sleeping bag and a camp fire complete the dream -- just enough of a breeze to let you know it is cool but not enough to make you cold. Have you ever had a night like that ? If so you'll know what I mean - also this is what we want to allow some kids to experience be they scouts or handicap or from single parent homes. For me at this time I must move along and save this type of night for another time. On my short walk tonight Rosie (the black dog ) spooked a couple Mallards - they seem to roost else where -- maybe for the better as one night I heard some commotion and muffled quacking -- then nothing - I think the prowling Bobcat had Duck A la Carte -- I have a few small electrical contracts to do so can't spend as much time on Cabin floor as I would like or need to -- Still working for finish on by end of month. Having lost so much on the real estate project that was our budget for eden for this year requires a change of plans -- I' am sure many of you have felt this same pinch . Will close for this evening -- was up till 2AM this morning working on Web site (another budget readjust ) -- this is a new program for me so still working the learning curve -- May each of you have a most rejuvenating sleep and I will have more for tomorrow God willing ..
